Repurposing Our Assets

An essential part of our role as ‘custodians’ of Altyre is to ensure that our built and environmental assets are well managed and maintained for the future.

In the case of our buildings we are ever mindful that some are ‘historic assets’ which, with sympathetic restoration, provide excellent opportunities for new thinking. The restoration and redevelopment of the Grade A Blairs Farm Steading as the Glasgow School of Art  Creative Campus is an excellent example of how Altyre works with third parties to imagine and delivering a modern purpose for underused  spaces.
