Following a long tradition of family enterprise, Sir Alastair Gordon Cumming is investing and diversifying to ensure long-term stability and sustainability and to grow activity and employment on the estate. This far reaching programme of renewal and innovation involves the creation of new enterprise, the fostering of local employment and procurement, the development of a renewable energy source and the re-development and re-use of redundant assets within a commercial template guided by an ethical and ‘green’ philosophy. Partnerships and co-venture will be at the heart of Altyre’s five year plan.
